Koda is a 2 and 1/2 year old German Shepherd Rescue. Koda was surrendered to Hillsborough County Animal Services by her owners because of a divorce. Luckily she was rescued from there by Heidi’s Legacy Dog Rescue and was placed in a foster home.
Unfortunately her previous owners did not have Koda on a Heartworm Preventative and Koda was found Heartworm Positive. So for the next year to year and a half we are going through the gentle heartworm treatment method.
